Lyxo has a double appointment at Milan Design Week 2025.
In the heart of Milan, amidst the majestic architectural complex of San Marco, dOT-design Outdoor Texture , now in its eighth edition with a new look. The event, organized by VG crea in collaboration with EN Space network, takes place in the heart of the Brera Design District , transforming this historic location into a space for design research and experimentation.
In this context, LYXO presents a project conceived by LCM Marin Design Studio , an installation that "evokes imaginative lotus leaves, gently enveloping them, transforming into welcoming seats, where the soul can rest in silence. From these delicate seats, the observer is lost in the enchantment of a fantasy world, where colorful animals dance between dream and reality."
The living design event, with an exhibition area of over 1,000 square meters—spread across the piazza, two internal cloisters, and the garden—and featuring numerous exhibitors and designers, offers an in-depth exploration of the material and technological research underlying contemporary design.
The 2025 edition revolves around the theme of "matter ," understood as the generative principle of the project: from the essence of the material that defines its form, to the experiments that expand its expressive and applicative potential, up to its embodiment in the finished product. Matter understood both as a structural element and as a covering appreciated for the expressive and sensorial qualities derived from its textures and surface finishes.
